Cookie Policy

What we use, in plain terms
"Cookies" here covers both actual browser cookies and similar client-side storage (specifically, your browser's local storage) — we use the term broadly the way most cookie policies do, since the practical effect for you (what's remembered about your visit, and for how long) is the same either way. We use two categories, and only two:
Essential
Always on — the site and app don't function without these. We never ask for consent to use these, because there's no meaningful choice to offer: turning them off means the product doesn't work.
- Session token — kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in to the dashboard or client portal between page loads.
- Cookie-consent choice itself — so we don't ask you again every time you visit this marketing site.
Analytics (optional)
We don't currently run any analytics or advertising scripts on this marketing site. The consent banner you see asks in advance, so that if we do add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (to understand which pages are useful, not to track you individually across other sites), it's already gated behind the choice you've made rather than added silently. If you've accepted analytics cookies and we later turn analytics on, nothing changes on your end — if you've declined, any future analytics script stays off for you until you change your mind.
Managing your choice
Use the cookie banner the first time you visit, or clear your browser's local storage for this site to be asked again. Because essential storage is required for the product to function, there's no way to opt out of it short of not using Helmdesk — but it's also never used for anything beyond keeping you signed in.
